Casa do Barco
Designed in 1984 by our grandfather, the architect and artist Artur Rosa, Casa do Barco was a refuge away from busy Lisbon in Lagos, for him and our grandmother, Helena Almeida.

Casa do Canto
Going down the hills of Sintra and arriving at Várzea, we find a house full of nooks and crannies. It is a complex yet innocent construction hidden among the trees and bushes.
Casa do Barco and Casa do Canto represent a family: two sisters in distinct locations. Although they have different characters, they were conceived and cared for by the same people.
IRMÃ is about sorority and sisterhood, focused on complicity and collaboration.
“ The IRMÃ project is the infinite multi-potentiality of two minds, two sisters, with a lot of dance mixed in! ”
